South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has awarded Provincial Constable Mike Scott with the Commissioner’s Citation for Lifesaving.
Constable Scott responded to an emergency call on November 5, 2024, after an individual experienced a medical crisis at the top of a building in the Municipality of Brockton. Constable Scott was able to communicate with compassion and empathy to de-escalate the situation, ultimately being able to safely help and assist the person involved.
South Bruce OPP Detachment Commander Inspector Keegan Wilcox presented the award to Constable Scott on April 21, 2026.
