Pet(s) of the Week: Looking for forever caring and loving homes

Grey Bruce Animal Shelter offers a safe place for pets that have no choices left.
“Sometimes, their owners have had no choice either. They, too, may have aged and had to move into a facility where their loved companions are not allowed or, in the final step of life, may have died leaving their pets behind,” says Shelter Manager, Deb Takeda.  “Whatever the reason, these faithful friends have no choice but to wait … wait for someone new to take them in and love them.”
Sometimes too, however, they come from very unusual circumstances that are unfair for anyone, human or otherwise.

Whether you are a ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ person, these furry friends are looking for caring and loving homes.

Meet Ghost, approximately nine-month-old grey DMH. She has been vet-checked, vaccinated and spayed and is ready to find a home.

Ghost is very timid but good with other cats.

Meet Lucy, an eight-month-old Great Pyrenees X. She’s a friendly, fun girl, a bit timid at first but warms quickly. She will be available after vet-check, spay and vaccinations. She’s a big, energetic puppy, good with people and good with dogs but not recommended for households with small children. Will chase cats.

Meet Suki, a pretty four-year-old Husky X. She’s a bit timid at first but friendly and fun once she knows you. She is spayed and will be available after vet-check and vaccinations. She is good with people and most dogs.

Please call the shelter at 519-372-1911 for an appointment to meet these wonderful new friends.
