Fibre fun continues at Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre

The fibre art fun continues at the Museum this month with the opening of The Whisper Project exhibit — on now until April 30th. Here’s your chance to meet some of the artists behind the two major current exhibits including The Whisper Project and The Thread of the Story: When Artefacts Inspire Art.

Developed by members of the Fergus-Guelph Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) pod, this exhibit puts a playful spin on the childhood game ‘telephone’ with a total of 5 photographs inspiring the 25 art quilts now on display at the BCM&CC, all showing a unique range of approaches and techniques.

Here’s your chance to meet some of the artists behind our two major current exhibits.   RSVP to join us on March 23rd for a meet & greet event to answer your questions and share more about their inspirations and processes in creating the incredible pieces of fibre art included in these exhibits.
