According to Environment Canada and The Weather Network, February was foretold to be an unusual up-and-down weather cycle and it appears that, if the forecasts are accurate, that’s what Bruce County is in for.
Today, (Feb. 17) was a very unusual and unexpected February FOG day rarely seen resulting in morning school buses cancelled.

Bruce County has now declared a significant weather event due to forecasted or observed weather conditions for tomorrow (Feb. 18).
Freezing rain is anticipated beginning tonight (Feb. 17) with the possibility of turning to snow in the early morning.
Use caution when travelling on County roads. It may take longer than usual to bring road conditions back to a state of repair.
