CFUW Kincardine lends a financial helping hand

The Kincardine chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) recently gave a financial helping hand to literacy and horticulture.

Joan Thompson, President of CFUW Kincardine ( Centre) presented donations to Colleen Shute (L), Director of Books in the Bruce and Nan Grant (R), President of Bruce Botanical Food Gardens

The organization donated funds to Books in the Bruce and Bruce Botanical Food Gardens.

Books in the Bruce will use the donation for the purchase of even more books and the the Bruce Botanical Food Gardens will use their donation to directly to purchase plants and rejuvenate their heirloom seed inventory.
