On Monday, February 16th, is Family Day and Lunar New Year, in the Year of the Horse, and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre invites everyone to celebrate.
From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be cultural demonstrations including brush writing, paper cutting, a zodiac animal presentation and more in celebration of the Year of the Horse.
Families will also have the opportunity to get creative making paper dragons and lanterns, paper-cut crafts, then take on a game of BINGO sending you around the Museum to win a prize.
In addition, visitors can also enjoy traditional foods (which may contain nuts) and hands-on activities that bring Lunar New Year traditions to life.
All are invited for a fun, family-friendly day of culture, creativity, and community connection!
