Lisa Thompson, MPP for Huron-Bruce, proudly presented King Charles III Coronation Medals to six exceptional individuals from across the riding during a special ceremony held on July 3rd in Goderich.
The recipients recognized for their outstanding contributions to their communities were:
- Jeff Cardiff
- Duncan Hawthorne
- Ken Irwin
- Julie Sawchuk
- Todd Thompson
- Mary Ellen Zielman
On behalf of Ontario’s Solicitor General, Thompson also presented a coronation medal to the Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Burlington, Jeremy Inglis, formerly of Belmore.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a commemorative honour that recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to service, community leadership, and the betterment of society – values that reflect the spirit of His Majesty’s reign.
“The evening ceremony brought together friends and family to celebrate the achievements and contributions of each recipient. The medals serve as a symbol of appreciation from the Crown for their continued commitment to improving the lives of those around them,” said Lisa Thompson, MPP for Huron-Bruce.
